The OxBox project is establishing an art trail throughout East Oxford, by using the work of talented local artists to transform cabinets into works of art, whilst reducing graffiti and fly-posting.
There has been incredibly positive feedback from some of OxBox’s other local art projects, such as the wall outside the Iffley Road Co-Op, and Green Councillors are delighted to support them.
Local Councillor Emily Kerr said “I love the democratic nature of street art, which is for everyone
and makes our public spaces more dynamic and exciting. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a
plethora in East Oxford.
I’m delighted to support this project and look forward to seeing the number of boxes continue
to grow.”
