Max Morris is a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, where they have worked since 2022. Their research and teaching is shaped by movements for ecological, economic, gender, racial and social justice.
Max has worked closely with local organisations – such as the Terrance Higgins Trust and Youth Stop AIDS- to improve social attitudes and health outcomes for marginalised groups, and have recently hosted a public lecture series at Oxford Brookes University which seeks to challenge homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, and sex work stigma.
At work, Max is an active member of the University and College Union (UCU) branch and Palestine solidarity group at Brookes.
