Kate Robinson

Kate Robinson has lived in the Marston area for over 20 years and has been in the Green Party for over 15 years. She was first elected in 2024, following the good work of Marston’s first Green Cllr, Alistair Morris, and was re-elected in 2026.

She is very involved with Marston’s local local community, and held numerous roles locally including, including being Co-founder of Marston Community Gardening,  Helping to lead on the Northway Community Kitchen project, and working with Marston Eco Group to set up a Bike Doctor & Refill Hubs. She is a member of Low Carbon Marston, Marston Eco Group and is a Governor at St Michael’s Primary School.

Kate is currently a public librarian, working at Headington Library, and used to be a full-time teacher in secondary schools. She is passionate about community and environmental action, empowerment and education – and works hard to represent all residents and make their voices heard.
